And Zac obviously dressed as the candy bar.

EDIT: They just made such bad, yet hilarious sword jokes.
Zac: I just really wanted a rapier… don’t take that the wrong way!
Taylor: You should’ve kept your mustache, Zac. You could’ve gone as a rapier!

WOULDN’T IT BE NICE - THE BEACH BOYS
Wouldn’t it be nice if we could wake up
In the morning when the day is new
And after having spent the day together
Hold each other close the whole night through
It’s on my iPod because they were one of my favorite bands as a child, as well as The Beatles. You’re probably thinking that I made this up to sound “cool”, but I’m not. My oldest brother, Thomas, only listened to old school music, and The Beach Boys were his top choice. And then my other brother, David, had The Beatles’ 1962-1966 and 1967-1970 albums, which were always blasting in the play room.
LAST ONE! Happy Halloween! Eat lots of candy, whether you’re trick-or-treating/going to a party or not!
This month went by so quickly, whaaaat?!
Highs
Lows
I’d rather come up with a few meaningful goals than several frivolous ones that don’t really matter at all.
“No, it doesn’t hurt me, because I use daily newspapers! Newspapers that would be wrapping dead fish or lining the recycle bin otherwise.
But, I get where you’re coming from. I love books. I love, love, love books. I love books so much that I decided to work in a public library after college. Big mistake. If you love books, if you treasure books, if you believe that every book is a potential universe with intrinsic value, you should never ever work in a public library. If you do, you will be introduced to the heartbreaking practice known in the industry as “weeding.” You will sit at the reference desk with a cart full of interesting books, and you will scan the barcodes into the Millennium catalog, and you see just how infrequently good books are borrowed, while the Nora Roberts and Dean Koontz books are falling apart from use, and you will have to decommission these wonderful, mint-condition books to the Library Book Sale, where they’ll be sold to some greedy book dealer for a dollar a piece and sold on eBay or wherever, all so the library can make room for more exercise DVDs, and more Dean Koontz books, and more internet terminals.”

I really miss my friends from NC. I moved to Chicago when I was a rising junior in high school. That was the worst possible time to move, because everyone was just applying to college and really bonding and making the most of their high school career.
A lot of them still hang out a lot because they go to school in-state, while I haven’t seen some of them for a few years now. I tend to feel like I’m losing all the people that were closest to me since I was in elementary school, and that’s terrifying. It’s almost like my childhood is disappearing. =[
For the past couple of years, my time management skills have gone down the drain. I have none whatsoever now, and that’s what’s hurting me the most in college. It’s upsetting, but I know that it’s my fault, so I just need to find the best way for me to work this out.
I’m finally going to get to see Elie Wiesel speak! Yes, he’s the world famous Holocaust survivor and Nobel Peace Prize winner. He’s a professor at my school, and I don’t know why it’s taken me so long to attend one of his lectures. He’s currently doing a three-part series entitled, The Fascination with Jewish Tales. I’m not Jewish, as many of you have come to know, but that obviously isn’t going to stop me from wanting to gain more knowledge about another faith/culture and to hear an amazing man speak, one with strength and determination beyond recognition. The lecture I will be attending is called, Ethos and Contemporary Issues.
YAYYYYYYY.
