No, my friend was not trying to be funny. This is how he talks in real life. Only he could be this unintentionally hilarious and oddly endearing at the same time.

This is my current technological situation. Excessive, isn’t it?

When I started up my computer this morning, the cursor wouldn’t move. I tried shutting it down, all the usual procedures and nothing worked. So, I took it to the Genius Bar and the guy couldn’t fix it, and I come to find that the keyboard doesn’t work either. He told me I had to send my laptop in to be looked over and repaired. Seeing as my massive research paper is due Friday, that’s not a possibility; therefore, I have to keep it with me until then. As a result, I was made to buy an external keyboard and mouse for the time being because all the USB ports still work. 

Even though I’m under warranty with AppleCare… as usual, if they find accidental damage, then I have to pay up for the repairs. The Genius guy said that if that ends up being the case and they have to replace all the parts, then it’s going to cost almost as much as a new laptop, ~$1,250. o.O Technology suxxx.
