Jack Wills autumn ad campaign video
I wish I had been at Oxford in the autumn more than anything in the world!

I saw this picture and it immediately made me miss being in Oxford and texting my friends to make plans for the evening—dinner, happy hour, drinks and hanging out in someone’s room, whatever. It’s not that I don’t miss Oxford all the time (I do/this verges on an Oxford appreciation blog at times, etc.)… I guess this picture just brought on a particularly sharp pang of nostalgia.

The summer of 2007 was when I felt the most satisfied with my life. It was absolutely amazing and better than I could’ve imagined! Not only was I able to fulfill a dream of “studying” at Oxford University for a month, but I also spent the latter part of the summer with my best friend in Tokyo seeing some of the coolest bands in the world at Summer Sonic music festival.
It would take a hell of a lot to beat that summer, but I’m ready for a challenge!
![I met Foals at Lollapalooza 2008, and, being the geek that I am, brought the Oxford map I had from when I spent my summer there the year before. They found it creative [if not slightly creepy], and had fun finding and signing near where they live[d].](http://24.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_l6jt29fUzX1qa6qwxo1_500.jpg)
