I’m so sick and tired of people bringing Justin Bieber up whenever someone from the internet becomes famous. (Latest example: Maria Aragon and her Born This Way cover.) Yes, Scooter Braun found Justin on YouTube. But, at the time, looks had virtually nothing to do with his potential, which can’t be said about a lot of artists these days. He saw him for his raw talent and passion.
The people that bash him repeatedly comment on how this internet sensation has real talent unlike Justin Bieber or that internet sensation doesn’t sound like a girl. I really want to know how many of them have even bothered to look at his old YouTube videos, watch Never Say Never or hear him sing acoustic or a cappella. Do they even know about Justin’s personal life/how he grew up, his other talents aside from music, or the amazing things he does for fans and those in need?
And if you’re scared others will make fun of you for admitting you like Justin, fuck ‘em! I’m not always a fan of certain people, but I damn well know that I’m big enough to give respect to those who deserve it.
